Mixing and Mastering services for bands/artists who need that professional sparkle for their music that actually sounds like their rough mix and reference track.

And who are sick and tired of randomly picking someone off of SoundBetter and rolling the dice.

I remember when I was first ready to release my music to the world.

I didn’t quite know how to mix yet, and I knew I wanted that same professional sound as all my favorite music on Spotify.

So I did what any reasonable artist does. I paid $150 and sent off the multitracks of my song to a mixing engineer I found online.

I was so excited, I knew it would sound amazing.

A few days later, during my break at the sushi restaurant where I worked, I took out my phone and saw an email from the mixing engineer.

My song! It’s finished!

I took out my favorite pair of wired Apple headphones (don’t judge), opened up the email on my Samsung Galaxy S7 (please stop judging), and played it, butterflies fluttering in my stomach.

And I listened.

And you know how I felt?

Disappointed.

It sounded weeiirrddd. The bass was all muddy and boomy for some reason, and the main melody synth was all thin.

“I sent him a reference track and my rough mix, what happened?” I thought.

I liked my mix more than his! And I sucked at mixing at the time!

I messaged him back, asking him to reduce the release of the compressor on the bass because I thought maybe that was the problem (the bass sounded more drawn out for some reason).

You know what he said?

“Uhhh ya, sure, I guess.”

Oh I’m sorry, is it MY FAULT this mix sucks, or is it yours, dude?

I remember feeling so insulted that this guy had the audacity to not even TRY and understand the way I wanted my track to sound, and then get all condescending when I try and ask for a change. Sure, maybe I didn’t know what I was talking about, but at least try and understand where I am coming from. I’M PAYING YOU.

Unfortunately, I ended up just taking the loss. (This moment is actually one of the moments that inspired me to learn how to mix myself.)

Who am I? My name is Solomon, and I’ve been mixing and mastering music for over 5 years.

I know how frustrating it can be to get a high-quality mix and master for your song.

It’s why I decided to start mixing in the first place, to be the go-to person who:

  • Fights tooth and nail to get you the perfect mix that you hear in your head.
  • Offers unlimited revisions.
  • Takes it upon himself to understand every aspect of your vision.

The music I’ve mixed (including others’ and my own) has:

  • Garnered tens of thousands of streams.
  • Been written about in high-quality blogs such as Obscure Sound.
  • Landed in high-quality playlists such as BIRP!

“I hired Solomon to mix and master the album ‘Loose Ends’ by my band ‘MintJulep.’ He did a fantastic job, delivering high-quality work ahead of schedule. He was a pleasure to work with and I will be sure to call him back for future projects. Very professional. Highly recommend.”

Love It or Don’t Pay. My Guarantee.

If you don’t LOVE the mix/master you get from me, you do NOT have to pay.

The reason I offer unlimited revisions is because it’s my job to get you the amazing results you are looking for, not yours.

You shouldn’t have to be punished for wanting absolute perfection for your music. It’s what it deserves.

And I won’t stop until that’s what you get.

That’s why I am so confident that you won’t have to pay unless you absolutely love the final product.

No strings attached, no commitment.

How It Works

Step 1: Filepass

I will create a project folder for us on Filepass, an online service dedicated to sending and previewing high-quality audio files.

The project folder is password protected and lets you leave notes for me if you want to.

Step 2: Upload Multitrack Files

Upload your multitrack files (usually incorrectly referred to as “stems,” sorry to be pedantic lol) to our shared project folder on Filepass.

The files should be lossless 24 bit WAV or FLAC files with no dithering, exported at the same sample rate as they were recorded.

Let me know if you need help with this step, I know it can be kinda confusing (it was to me at first).

Optional Step: Reference Track and Rough Mix (Highly Recommended)

You can decide if:

You want me to take the mix into my own hands and use my own judgement for the mixing decisions

or

you want to send me your rough mix and a reference track and I will make mixing decisions based on those.

I highly recommend this step because it helps me align with the vision you have in your head about your track.

Please upload your rough mix to Filepass and send me a link to your reference track.

Step 3: Upload Mix/Master to Filepass

I will upload your mix/master to Filepass and ask for your feedback. You can leave notes directly on the audio files, and I will take the feedback and make adjustments.

If I can’t get you the results you are looking for, we can go our separate ways and you don’t need to pay.

However, if you choose not to pay you will be unable to download your mixed/mastered file.

If you are happy with the result, great! You are free to pay and download your master.

You only pay if you want to download the files!

If we aren’t a good fit, it’s no one’s fault, it happens.

A reference track is a professionally mixed track that you are inspired by or want your finished song to sound similar to sonically.
